Exfoliation is so important to incorporate into your skin care routine! If you missed my post on exfoliation, check it out here! This little face scrubber has quickly become my favorite tool to use to exfoliate my skin and get rid of stubborn black heads!
A face scrubber is a small device that used high frequency vibrations to exfoliate the skin. The face scrubber I use is from GUGUG and you can find it here on Amazon! I chose this face scrubber because it has four different settings and great reviews.
I’ll give a quick little over view of the different modes on the device and then I have a quick little tutorial on how to use it!
Cleaning Mode
This mode is good for typical exfoliation and cleaning the face. It is the only mode where the spatula faces toward you while you push away from you on your face. I like to use this mode over the majority of my face. It clears the dead skin and leaves my face feeling very clean.
Lifting Mode
When you switch to this mode, you will notice that the vibrations change quite a bit! This mode is great for giving yourself a quick little facial and lifting the skin! I use this mode every once in a while when I have some extra time! Simply place the spatula flat side down on your face and pull towards you!
Ion+ Mode
The absolute best mode in my opinion! This is how I get rid of all those pesky little black heads on my nose! With the flat part of the spatula toward your skin, hold the device at about a 45 degree angle using the bent part of the spatula to push on the skin and push all the gunk out. This mode is so satisfying to use!
Ion- Mode
Are you a serum person? I know I am! This mode is amazing to use after you have applied a serum. It will help the serums penetrate deeper into your skin, which will make them more effective! I don’t use this as often as I would like but it’s a great option!
Since this tool is a little difficult to explain, I have put together a quick little tutorial on how to use it!
One thing I forgot to mention in this video that is very important anytime you are exfoliating your skin is to please, please, please do not forget to use moisturizer afterwards! Your skin will be a little more sensitive and dry so using a moisturizer is a must! If you want to check out any of the skin care products I use head over to the Things I Love page and check them out!
I hope this brought value to you all and as always if you have any questions, drop them in the comments or feel free to email me!
