I decided to start sharing my favorite products on their own little posts separate from a long blog post. Sometimes it can be hard to know what products are non-toxic and which ones you should avoid. Sometimes doing the research on your own can feel overwhelming or maybe you just don’t have the time. My hope is that these smaller post will help people who are in a time crunch find quality non-toxic products and a little bit of information about the products! When I started my non-toxic journey, toothpaste wasn’t really something I thought about switching out. Then someone told me about Redmond Earthpaste and I decided to try it out! I am so glad I did because regardless of toxic or non-toxic, this is my absolute favorite toothpaste I have every used!
Things to note about this toothpaste:
- It does not contain fluoride. This is a big debate in the non-toxic community.
- It does not foam like typically toothpastes. This is due to the fact that the toxic foaming agents have been removed.
- This toothpaste is brown due to the bentonite clay in it but trust me, the bentonite clay is what makes me love this toothpaste so much!
- My teeth have never felt cleaner!
- Do not use this on your dogs, it contains xylitol which is good for human teeth but can wreak havoc on a dogs system.
