I am a big big fan of body scrubs! Something about getting rid of dead skin cells and having baby smooth skin makes me really happy! There are tons of body scrubs to choose from out there but I prefer to make my own. I have found that a lot of the body scrubs I get at the store leave a film on my body and I absolutely hate it! Plus you can whip up a body scrub with everyday items and leave the toxic body scrubs at the store!

I typically use a body scrub once a week. I love to use it before I shave my legs to get a way better shave. I also like to use it after a day of playing outside when it just feels so good to relax in a bath and scrub away all dirt and grime that is on my body!

There are a few body scrubs that are my go to’s. I thought I would share them with you today so you can make your own as well! While there are tons on Pinterest to look at, these are the ones that I go back to time and time again! I’ve also created a quick DIY tutorial for each body scrub as well!

Coffee Scrub

One of my all time favorite scrubs! This coffee scrub is easy to make and in my opinion works the best! For this scrub you will need:

All you have to do is mix it all together and you’ve got your coffee scrub! This one will not last long so make sure you use it once you have made it!

Oat Sugar Scrub

This scrub has a couple more steps to it but definitely a good one! I really like to use this one as a hand scrub since it has jojoba oil in it and nourishes while it exfoliates! For this one you will need:

  • 1/2 cup of old fashion oats
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp jojoba oil

To make this scrub you will:

  1. Grind up oats in a food processor or a blender
  2. Melt the coconut oil. To do this, I place the coconut oil in a glass jar and then place that glass jar into a pan of hot water.
  3. Mix all ingredients together

To make this scrub you will need to:

  1. Melt the coconut oil. To do this, I place the coconut oil in a glass jar and then place that glass jar into a pan of hot water.
  2. Mix in the Himalayan pink salt to get the consistency you desire
