Method
- Insert the trivet into the Instant Pot. Add one cup of water.
- Peel potatoes (if desired) and cut into about 1-inch cubes. Place cut potatoes in the Instant Pot on top of the trivet.
- Cook in Instant Pot on manual for 12 minutes. Use a quick release and then use tongs to remove the trivet.
- Use a potato masher to mash the potatoes while mixing in the milk. Then mix in the soften butter.
- Use a hand mixer if you want a creamer texture. Add in garlic seasoning and whatever other seasonings you prefer.
