Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 5-7 Russet Potatoes
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 8 Tbsp Organic Butter
  • 3/4 Cup Organic Milk/ Whipping Cream
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder

Method
 

  1. Insert the trivet into the Instant Pot. Add one cup of water.
  2. Peel potatoes (if desired) and cut into about 1-inch cubes. Place cut potatoes in the Instant Pot on top of the trivet.
  3. Cook in Instant Pot on manual for 12 minutes. Use a quick release and then use tongs to remove the trivet.
  4. Use a potato masher to mash the potatoes while mixing in the milk. Then mix in the soften butter.
  5. Use a hand mixer if you want a creamer texture. Add in garlic seasoning and whatever other seasonings you prefer.
